AVAILABLE ART
WILLIAM EGGLESTON
Similar to a self-portrait recently acquired by a leading West Coast museum, this is one of the finest portraits of Eggleston ever made. Like many photographers, Eggleston is notoriously "camera-shy" and few portraits of him exist, especially from this seminal period. Additional works from this series with friends are available. Probably created for the Museum of Modern Art's first exhibition of the artist's work and his first one-person exhibition in 1976.
